This person (hope is a man and not a woman like me), makes a lot of horrible accusations against "activists", like they belong to a net of organ traffickers. He analyzes only the title, beginning with "exposing" activists.
Activists, for him, are terrorists living abroad, exiles. Well, I have strong suspicions that he himself is not currently in Syria, for instance. And through his words, always full of violence, aggresivity and insults, if there is a terrorist, would be him. Besides, there is a HUGE amount of Syrians living abroad, many of them with universitary degrees, who had to get out from Syria as it was impossible for them to have a decent life with the journals that they were paid. An example: a friend of mine is an architect, recently finished studies. Best he could get was a job of almost 12 hours/day for 10.000 syrian pound. This is about 150 euro per month. How could he and his wife live with this amount?. No way, and he found a job outside Syria, so he left this summer.
In another article, Syrian Commando considers Syrians abroad as exiles that have no rights over Syria, whatever they do, wouldn't be considered Syrians. Only Syrians in Syria are truly Syrians... So when you leave Syria to avoid hunger, you loose your citizen rights... Very fair, Syrian Commando, very fair.
Then, we should look at the word "activists". ¿This is good or bad? ¿Who is an activist? Well, if someone dedicates great part of his/her time, efforts, money, and put heart on what's he/she doing for Syria, then I am an activist. Not a terrorist, I am afraid. I am against all kind of violence, I ever was, specially against violence made by the powerful people against defenceless children, women and men.
I never participated in any zionist-imperialist conspiration against Syria. I love Syria too much for that. I love Syria as much as I hate the people that are effectively destructing the country and killing their citizens. And as I saw in these hard moments, there are MANY people more like me in the whole world, even inside Syria. Those are real activists.
¿Spreading rumours? No, there are not rumours at all. Many prestigious human rights organizations have a solid case against Syrian government and its brutality. Anybody with eyes can see the videos in YouTube, too many and too horrible to be nothing but the truth. There are innumerable testimonies well preserved for the future, any international court would admit them as solid and well documented. But of course, you, Syrian Commando, can deny it. OK, you can insult, and lie, and do whatever you want... the TRUTH is there.
Syrian regime, Syrian Government... as you like, it won't be for long...
Now, we deal with an atrocious accusation. So now the doctors risking their lives (and loosing it in some cases) to help and heal the wounded, are really part of a ghoulish plan to steal organs and trafficking with them. And what's more, they are foreign doctors, no Syrians would be involved in such a thing. Will give you only a few names, but there were more: Dr. Ali Ghassab al Mahamid died in Deraa when security forces killed him and driver of Red Hilal Ambulance, when going to a mosque where they had some injured people, as they were unable to take them to hospitals, under security forces vigillance. Look also at Dr. Ibrahim Othman, killed when he tried to escape to Turkey, after being exposed in his net for treating the wounded in Damascus. These are the doctors that were risking their lives. No foreign dark-intentioned evilish doctors.
By the way, I miss in your article any reference to women and children... They are also diying in Syria, nobody can deny it. It's so sad to read again and again how the so called " intellectual leftists" are all the time denying the spontaneity of the demonstrations in Syria. All the time are condemning them as the fruit of a conspiracy zionist-imperialist against a "glorious socialist state resisting the external pressures".
Enough of this shit!!!
Even in the case that it was true, that is NOT, would it justify the bombing of complete districts in the city of Homs, the same that was done before with Deraa, Hama, Deir Ez-Zor????
Now some of these leftists will tell me that is NOT HAPPENING, that Bashar is NOT using tanks, is NOT shelling civil builidings, that his snipers are NOT killing people and then killing the people trying to recover the bodies left in the streets. That people outside Syria and trying to get in contact with their beloved ones are NOT listening trough the phone the explosions in another parts of the city (in the areas under shelling communications are off).
Now they will tell me that what I saw myself before I left Syria, when I saw high smoke columns over Deraa in april, the first day they were shelling it, is NOT TRUE. Or, maybe, I'm lying because really I am a zionist agent inventing a whole story: I AM NOT. Even I consider leftist myself. I saw what I saw, I left Syria with all the pain in my heart, I thought I would come back soon, but till now I can't.
I love Syria, and because of this love, I want the BEST for Syria and the Syrians.

Ahora me dirán que lo que yo vi por mí misma antes de dejar Siria, cuando vi altas columnas de humo sobre la ciudad de Deraa en abril, el primer día que la bombardearon, NO ES CIERTO. O quizá estoy mintiendo porque soy una agente sionista inventando toda la historia. NO LO SOY. Incluso, me considero de izquierdas. Vi lo que vi, dejé Siria con todo el dolor de mi corazón, pensé que podría volver pronto, pero hasta ahora no he podido.

A new strike: sex strike / Una nueva huelga: huelga de sexo
Yesterday I was glad to hear about the Noble Prize for Peace being awarded to three women. One of them, from Liberia, had a genial and succesful idea: women comitted to deny sex to their husbands till they were able to stop civil war and reach a peace agreement.
Great!!! All we have to do in Syria is to convince women to do the same. I'll explain it: Shabbiha, soldiers and policemen have wives and mothers. If wives stop having sexual relationships with their husbands, and mothers stop cooking and cleaning for them, when they are not married, it will affect deeply those men in the two things they care for the most: sex and food.
Now, the only problem is to reach to these women and make them like the idea and commit themselves to do their best, and the final aim would be stopping slaughterings in Syria. That would be the first step to topple the regime.
We, women, still don't know how powerful can be, and how desperately the world need us...
Help us to spread this idea, and make it real!!!
Ayer me enteré con alegría del premio Nobel de la Paz concedido a tres mujeres. Una de ellas, liberiana, tuvo una idea genial y exitosa: mujeres comprometidas a no tener sexo con sus maridos hasta que fueran capaces de parar la guerra civil y lograr un acuerdo de paz.
Estupendo!!! Todo lo que tenemos que hacer en Syria es convencer a las mujeres para hacer lo mismo. Me explico: Los shabbiha, soldados y policías tienen mujeres y madres. Si las mujeres dejan de tener relaciones sexuales con sus maridos, y las madres dejan de cocinar y limpiar para ellos, cuando no están casados, afectará profundamente a estos hombres en las dos cosas que más les importan: el sexo y la comida.
Ahora, el único problema llegar hasta estas mujeres y hacer que les guste la idea, y que se comprometan a hacer lo que puedan, con el objetivo final de parar las matanzas en Siria. Eso sería el primer paso para derrocar al régimen.
Nosotras, las mujeres, todavía no sabemos cuán poderosas podemos ser, y cuán desesperadamente nos necesita el mundo...

A Syrian woman /Una mujer de Siria
Yesterday I was with Aliaa Mustafa Tabbaa. She is making a hunger strike since friday 16th of September, taking only some liquids and glucose to maintain herself.
First thing attracted my attention were her eyes. Not because of their precious colour, a mixture of grey, green and blue, but because of their innocence, they were like limpid mirrors through a pure soul.
When you talk to her, she speaks softly, both the way of speaking and the words she utters. She has something very clear, her precise ideas, and she transmits them with conviction and hope. You talk to her, and you are sure that the Syrian regime will fall, and will be very soon if we can find more people like her.
Her eyes were bright with tears while telling me how she developed her idea of the hunger strike. She was really moved by the death of Gyath Matar, the young activist killed by the regime, returned to his family in a plastic bag, after being tortured to death. She was speaking through the computer in a conference with several people, one of them the brave Gyath. Someone was advising him to close the communication, telling that we was about to be caught, he answered "just a little bit more", and then... nothing. A few days later, Aliaa knew that he was dead, killed by the savage Syrian regime thugs.
So she saw it cristal clear: she had to do more, for Syria, and for all the fallen martyrs. A hunger strike could atract more attention, and make people be aware of the serious danger that Syrian people asking for freedom affronts day after day.
And so simply, she started the hunger strike.
I wish her the best, her courage has no limits.
Here it is a video of her first day, when she arrived to the Syrian embassy in Madrid, Spain, and where she was staying the whole week, sleeping in the street.

Lo primero que atrajo mi atención fueron sus ojos. No por su precioso color, una mezcla de gris, verde y azul, sino por su inocencia, eran como límpidos espejos a través de un alma pura.
Cuando hablas con ella, ella habla suavemente, tanto la forma de hablar como las palabras que pronuncia. Tiene algo muy claro, sus ideas precisas, y las transmite con convicción y esperanza. Hablas con ella y quedas convencida de que el régimen sirio caerá, y será muy pronto, si tan solo pudiéramos encontrar más gente como ella.
Sus ojos brillaron con lágrimas mientras me contaba cómo se le ocurrió la idea de una huelga de hambre. Realmente ella se conmovió con la muerte de Gyath Matar, el joven activista asesinado por el régimen, cuyo cadáver devolvieron a su familia en una bolsa de plástico, tras haberlo torturado hasta la muerte. Ella estaba hablando en una conferencia a través del ordenador con varias personas, uno de los cuales era el bravo Gyath. Alguien le estaba advirtiendo que cortara la comunicación, diciendo que le iban a coger, el contestó con un "solo un momento más", y luego... nada. Unos días más tarde Aliaa se enteró de que había muerto, asesinado por los matones del régimen.
Así que ella lo vio tan claro como el cristal, tenía que hacer algo más, por Siria y por todos los mártires caídos. Una huelga de hambre podría atraer más atención, y hacer que la gente conociera el serio peligro que afrontan cada día los sirios que aspiran a la libertad.
Y de una forma tan sencilla, ella empezó la huelga de hambre.
Le deseo lo mejor, su valor no tiene límites.

STRIKE OF STUDENTS IN SYRIA / HUELGA DE ESTUDIANTES EN SIRIA

The time for schools and universities to open has come upon us and we are calling for a strike. We urge all students to strike from schools and universities as this will have a huge impact inside Syria and out.
Inside Syria: The strike will provide a stronger feel of the revolution and will encourage others to join, as if schools and universities open normally this will be in benefit of the regime to show everything as calm and normal. Also, movement of students from various areas to universities will block protest movements as many of the university students have been the most active on the ground, and not having a strike will force them into university afraid of being expelled.
Outside Syria: The strike will have a big impact on the world as university students have a high impact on international opinions. A strike like this will seem like a general strike and will lead onto various other strikes across the country.
As you are aware schools have been used as torture centres by the army and police. Children and university students may be arrested during attendance, thus schools mainly seem to be unsafe at the current moment in time. Also the students may be asked questions in order to see their families position regarding the regime as this has occurred before. This will expose family affairs as children are vulnerable and may lead to arrest of family members, as teachers may work as spies.
Many students are missing, some being tortured as you read this and others as young as 12 dead under torture. Children will be attending schools where their friends may have been killed in recent events, or their friend is missing or in prison. The mental state of these children will be affected and it can be seen as morally unacceptable to take our children to schools whilst teenagers and students will not be attending as they have been killed, arrested or missing. Also many young children and students remain trapped inside refugee camps in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan unable to return to study and continue education.
A unified stance will create a new turn of events, it will strengthen the revolution which is fighting for basic human rights. We really urge you, for the sake of a peaceful revolution that has reached a point of no return, to take part in this strike and work on convincing others.

Also, movement of students from various areas to universities will block protest movements as many of the university students have been the most active on the ground, and not having a strike will force them into university afraid of being expelled.
Outside Syria: The strike will have a big impact on the world as university students have a high impact on international opinions. A strike like this will seem like a general strike and will lead onto various other strikes across the country.
As you are aware schools have been used as torture centres by the army and police. Children and university students may be arrested during attendance, thus schools mainly seem to be unsafe at the current moment in time. Also the students may be asked questions in order to see their families position regarding the regime as this has occurred before. This will expose family affairs as children are vulnerable and may lead to arrest of family members, as teachers may work as spies.
Many students are missing, some being tortured as you read this and others as young as 12 dead under torture. Children will be attending schools where their friends may have been killed in recent events, or their friend is missing or in prison. The mental state of these children will be affected and it can be seen as morally unacceptable to take our children to schools whilst teenagers and students will not be attending as they have been killed, arrested or missing. Also many young children and students remain trapped inside refugee camps in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan unable to return to study and continue education.
A unified stance will create a new turn of events, it will strengthen the revolution which is fighting for basic human rights. We really urge you, for the sake of a peaceful revolution that has reached a point of no return, to take part in this strike and work on convincing others.

Nos ha llegado la época de apertura de los colegios y universidades, y estamos convocando a una huelga. Animamos a los estudiantes de colegios y universidades a seguirla, ya que esto tendrá un gran impacto dentro y fuera de Siria.
Dentro de Siria: La huelga proporcionará un sentimiento más fuerte de la revolución, y animará a otros a unirse, además de tener en cuenta que si colegios y universidades abren con normalidad, redundará en beneficio del régimen, al mostrar todo con calma y normalidad. Asímismo, el movimiento de estudiantes de diversas áreas a las universidades bloqueará los movimientos de protesta, ya que muchos de los estudiantes universitarios han sido los más activos sobre el terreno, y si no hay una huelga eso les forzará a ir a la universidad, con el consiguiente miedo a ser expulsados.
Fuera de Siria: La huelga tendrá un gran impacto en el mundo puesto que los estudiantes universitarios tienen habitualmente un alto impacto en las opiniones internacionales. Una huelga de este estilo será muy semejante a una huelga general, y conducirá a la convocatoria de otras huelgas a lo largo del país.
Como es sabido, los colegios se han venido usando como centros de tortura por parte del ejército y la policía. Los niños y estudiantes universitarios pueden ser detenidos al asistir a clase, por lo cual parecen lugares inseguros en estos momentos. Además, es posible que a los estudiantes se les interrogue sobre la postura de sus familias con respecto al régimen, como ya se ha hecho anteriormente. De este modo se expondrán los asuntos familiares, al ser los niños más vulnerables, y conducir al arresto de miembros de la familia, puesto que los profesores pueden trabajar como espías.
Muchos estudiantes siguen desaparecidos, quizá están siendo torturados mientras tú lees esto, y algunos tan jóvenes como de 12 años de edad han sido torturados hasta la muerte. Los niños irán a colegios donde sus amigos pueden haber sido asesinados en los recientes acontecimientos, o quizá sus amigos están desaparecidos o en la cárcel. El estado mental de dichos niños se verá muy afectado, e incluso puede verse como moralmente inaceptable llevar a nuestros hijos al colegio mientras adolescentes y estudiantes no podrán asistir al haber sido asesinados, o estar detenidos o desaparecidos. Igualmente, muchos chicos jóvenes permanecen confinados en campos de refugiados en Turquía, Líbano o Jordania, imposibilitados de volver a los estudios y continuar con su educación.
Una postura unificada creará un nuevo giro en los acontecimientos, reforzará una revolución que está luchando por derechos humanos básicos. Te rogamos encarecidamente, por el bien de una revolución pacífica que ya ha sobrepasado el punto de no retorno, que tomes parte en esta huelga y trabajes para convencer a otros.

لقد حان وقت افتتاح المدارس والجامعات في سورية ونحن هنا ندعو الى الاضراب. نحن نحث جميع الطلاب على الإضراب من الذهاب للمدارس والجامعات حيث ان هذا سوف يكون له تأثير كبير داخل سوريا وخارجها.
داخل سوريا : إن الإضراب سيعطي شعور و زخم قوي للثورة وسيشجع الآخرين على الانضمام اليها . اما دوام المدارس والجامعات سيكون في مصلحة النظام حيث ان هذا سيعطي الانطباع بان كل شيء هادئ وطبيعي.
على صعيد اخر فان ذهاب الطلاب من مختلف المناطق إلى الجامعات سيخفف من كتلة الحركات الاحتجاجية لان الطلاب الجامعيين يشكلون حركة ناشطة على أرض الواقع ، وعدم وجود اضراب سيجبرهم على الذهاب للجامعات خوفا من الفصل.
خارج سورية : إن الإضراب سيكون له تأثير كبير على العالم حيث ان طلاب الجامعات لديهم تأثير كبير على الرأي العام الدولي.و مثل هذا الإضراب يبدو وكأنه حركة احتجاج معممة ، وسوف يؤدي الى ازدياد الاضرابات في مختلف أنحاء البلاد.
كما هو معلوم فان المدارس و الجامعات استعملت كمراكز لتعذيب المتظاهرين على أيدي الجيش والشرطة. لذلك وجود الاطفال و طلاب الجامعات في الدوام قد يعرضهم للاعتقال لان المدارس و الجامعات اضحت اماكن غير امنة. ايضا فان النظام قد يستغل الطلاب و يسألهم عن ظروف عائلاتهم و موقفهم من الثورة . و هذا بدوره قد يعرض العديد من الاشخاص للاعتقال و قد يدفع النظام المعلمين للعمل كجواسيس على الطلاب و عائلاتهم.
العديد من الطلاب الان في عداد المفقودين ، و العديد تعرض للتعذيب وحتى اطفال لا يتجاوز اعمارهم 12 سنة قتلوا تحت وطأة التعذيب. وسوف يكون الأطفال ملتحقين في نفس المدارس حيث قتل أصدقائهم او فقدوا او ربما ما زالوا يعذبون. هذا بكل تأكيد سوف يؤثر على الحالة النفسية لهؤلاء الأطفال ، ويمكن اعتبار ذلك على أنه أمر غير مقبول من الناحية الاخلاقية .
هذا غير ان العديد من الشباب والطلاب ما زالوا عالقين داخل مخيمات اللاجئين في تركيا ولبنان والأردن و غير قادرين على العودة إلى الدراسة ومواصلة التعليم.

Hay que explicarlo todo, que luego no se entiende...
Lo que la mayoría de sirios desean en estos momentos es la protección internacional. Esto es, que las diversas naciones civilizadas, defensoras de los derechos humanos, tomen postura clara y tajante frente a la sinrazón de la violencia ejercida por el régimen sirio contra sus ciudadanos. Esta postura tiene que manifestarse de diversas formas, mediante seria y real presión diplomática (no nos vale el "donde dije digo digo Diego" de siempre, el retractarse, el cambiar de postura cambiando las palabras, etc.). También es absolutamente necesario el envío de observadores internacionales de probada honradez y honestidad, personas de valía reconocida en todos los ámbitos políticos y sociales, que se encarguen de visitar el país, especialmente las zonas más castigadas. Y por último, llega la cuestión más peliaguda, la de las fuerzas armadas.
En Siria no debe repetirse lo ocurrido en Libia, donde la OTAN tomó la iniciativa de "defender" Libia atacando objetivos según su propio criterio, sin tener como base resoluciones de la ONU, simplemente pensando en el futuro reparto de la gran tarta de los hidrocarburos libios y otras delicatessen.
La ONU tiene reconocida como su fuerza de paz, en misiones humanitarias de protección de la población civil, de árbitro para lograr equilibrio de fuerzas, a los llamados Cascos Azules. Estos soldados son los que se deberían encargar, si falla todo lo anterior, de desplegarse en Siria y proteger a la población civil.
Nunca, repito, nunca, debería darse entrada a la OTAN, visto el desastre que ha supuesto en Libia. No han conseguido proteger a la población civil, al contrario, en Tripoli han sido duramente castigados simplemente por estar en la ciudad incorrecta en el peor de los momentos. Tampoco han ayudado a reducir la duración de la guerra entre los leales a Ghaddafi y los luchadores por la libertad. Y ni siquiera han conseguido, ellos, con sus poderosas armas y artilugios técnicos de última generación, encontrar a Ghadaffi y detenerlo vivo para entregarlo al pueblo libio y someterlo a juicio.
La OTAN no debería ser nunca una opción para Siria. Y pedir su entrada sería hacer el juego a gente como AbdelHalim Haddam, el ex-vicepresidente sirio, ahora en el exilio. El y otros como él lo están pidiendo a gritos, intentando hacerse los buenos ahora, buscando un hueco en el futuro político de Siria, cuando en realidad son los mismos perros del régimen pero con diferentes collares. Nunca han tenido nada de demócratas, y no pueden engañarnos.

LET'S GET TOGETHER, SERIOUSLY / TENEMOS QUE UNIRNOS, SERIAMENTE
The most important thing, in this moment, as I see it, is to get all the opposition working together, to offer to the world a solid movement representing all the voices that are these days in the streets of Syria. The little problem is that everybody is thinking first of their own ambitions, their own desires, nobody seems to listen to the other, nobody is yielding a little bit on their points of view in order to get a real agreement. The meeting at Istanbul of the opposition showed us the spectacle of a lot of factions trying to impose their views only. Everybody seems to be the best for Syria, so everybody wants to be in the leading positions.
There is no place for this kind of opposition. We need honest people with honest worrying about Syria. We need people that remember more than anything those people spilling out their blood over the streets of Syria.
Where are them?
How can honestly ask for help to the rest of the world when we do not know which kind of help want, because everybody have their own thinkings?. We are not able to get together and forget differences, and still we are demanding from the world to do any kind of action.
We have to act by ourselves, we have to do something: first of all, we have to be ONE. After all, this is what syrian people are repeating in the streets, but we are failing to convey it to the world in political forums. Just as Bashar would like: Divide and you'll win
Lo más importante en estos momentos, a mi modo de ver, es conseguir que toda la oposición trabaje conjuntamente, para ofrecer al mundo un movimiento sólido representando todas las voces que se escuchan estos días en las calles de Siria. El pequeño problema es que todo el mundo piensa primero en sus propias ambiciones, sus propios deseos, nadie parece escuchar al otro, nadie cede ni un ápice en sus puntos de vista con el fin de lograr un acuerdo total. El encuentro en Estambul de la oposición nos ha ofrecido el espectáculo de un montón de grupúsculos intentando imponer exclusivamente sus visiones. Todo el mundo parece ser lo mejor para Siria, por eso todo el mundo quiere estar en las posiciones de liderazgo.
No hay lugar para esta clase de oposición. Necesitamos gente honesta, con una preocupación sincera por Siria. Necesitamos gente que recuerde más que nada a los que están derramando su sangre sobre las calles de Siria.
¿Dónde está esa gente?
Honestamente, ¿cómo podemos pedir ayuda al resto del mundo cuando no sabemos qué clase de ayuda queremos, porque cada persona tiene sus propias opiniones? No somos capaces de reunirnos y olvidar las diferencias, y aún estamos exigiendo al mundo que tome algún tipo de medidas.
Tenemos que actuar por nosotros mismos, tenemos que hacer algo. Lo primero, tenemos que ser UNO. Después de todo, esto es lo que está coreando la gente en las calles, pero estamos fallando al transmitirlo al mundo en los foros políticos. Justo como a Bashar le gustaría: Divide y vencerás.
